After a successful community Movie Night last fall and many requests to bring it back, we are happy to announce that a Movie Night to benefit NHN is planned for September 15, 2012 at Buttery Brook Park in South Hadley, MA. The movie shown will be Dr. Seuss’, The Lorax. It will be held in the lower field at dusk. Please plan to come, and bring chairs and blankets, BUG spray, and be ready to have a fun time with your neighbors!

All are invited. Admittance to the movie is FREE, but everyone is asked to contribute in any way they can, by either bringing a non-perishable food item or making a monetary donation to the Neighbors Helping Neighbors Food Pantry of South Hadley. Light snacks will be available for sale (popcorn/water) at a reasonable cost.

The Neighbors Helping Neighbors Food Pantry in South Hadley (www.shfoodpantry.org) has seen an increase in the number families using the pantry. Any and all help is much needed and always appreciated. Organizers hope this event will bring the community together for some old-fashioned fun, while raising awareness of the need in our local community and providing a way for people to help.
